It's was such an eye opener how our people especially vulnerable mothers and babies suffer to receive healthcare services with the scarce resources. We went to Buwenge Hospital and administered vaccinations to babies, provided antenatal and postpartum care to some mothers. Seeing the dilapidated operating room full of dirt and cobwebs was so frustrating. I wish I could do more than volunteering, and help save these mamas and babies lives. Thanks Steve. I would volunteer again and anytime.
